Hurst Media client Coti Vision gets a £50,000 backing from Dragon’s Den judges

Entering the Lion’s Den is daunting, but stepping foot into the Dragon’s Den? Even more so. Hurst Media, the trusted media partner, saw one of clients in action on BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

After advertising with Hurst Media, it was time for Julie Hawkins and Nancy Gries; founders of Coti Vision; to bring their brand to the masses, as they did when working with Hurst Media. They utilised the services of Hurst Media to feature their brand and stylish and unique product range in national publications, with an aim of expanding the appeal, reach and demand of their ever-growing brand. In September 2020, Hurst Media featured Coti Vision in the popular Health & Wellbeing Checklist in the Guardian, showcasing their brand and range of products to a national audience. Into The Den

So, when the duo walked into the Dragon’s Den, they used their knowledge and expertise to pitch themselves and their business idea to the business tycoons. A rousing success, the issues they raised and vision they laid forth were shared by one Dragon, Deborah Meaden, who invested £50,000 into the brand:

They set themselves a goal, to create a different approach to how ready reading glasses are perceived. Their idea for our CotiVision™ necklace reading glasses was founded on a genuine problem, that they could not find anything on the market that met their needs or personalities.
